Skincare Weekend- Day 3 Treatments, Masks and Eye Creams
Hi guys! Welcome back to our final day of our skincare weekend. Today we are talking about eye care, treatments and of course one of my favorite subjects, masks. The good thing about skincare is that we have many options now a days and at many price levels. Don't be to quick about dismissing drugstore brands. The drugstore brands have stepped it up throughout the years and some have become just as good if not better than high end brands.
One of those brands has been Olay which stays on top of their competitors and always produces high quality products. Their eye creams and serums are amazing and very affordable plus they have several different options. Another store brand is L'oreal who has also proven to be on top of their game. They have a face oil that is wonderful and again, they have reasonable prices and big selection of products.
Now, if you are into high end brands one of my favorite as you have come to know is Dior. Their Dior XP eye cream is incredible. It goes on smoothly, penetrates quickly and makes your eye area smooth and younger looking. Another great eye serum for puffiness is the Pur~lisse Blue Lotus eye serum which I talked about in a previous post. It is super light and fresh and starts to immediately de puff your under eye area.
Ok, now on to my ultimate favorite part of skincare, masks! There are so many options and to me they are all wonderful. If you have problem skin or acne prone skin the GLAMGLOW Super Mud is perfect. This is a mud masks so when applied it is wet and it dries slowly but when you wash it off your skin is soft and clean and it starts to dry out your breakouts. You can use it all over or as a spot treatment. Then you also have sheet masks that you can buy pretty much anywhere and there are so many options out there. You have sheet masks for hydration, brightening, acne, anti-aging, you name it there is a sheet mask for it and at all kinds of different prices with some starting as low as $1.00. What I love about them is how easy they are to use. You just unwrap then, put them on and when done they go in the trash and that's it!
But, don't forget about multi-masking you guys. Sometimes we need to mix our masks to get better benefits and results. I like to use the GLAMGLOW in my T-zone and jawline but a more hydrating masks on my cheeks and something with anti wrinkle benefits under my eyes. Make your masks work for you and your skin.
Well, this concludes our skincare weekend. I hope you guys have enjoyed this and let me know what your favorite products are. Our skin is so important and change is good, we must always evaluate how the products we are using are really benefiting us and if we see something is just not working don't be afraid to make a change. Your skin will thank you for it. TTYL XOXO
