Boxycharm January 2016

Hi guys! It's my favorite time of the month, it's BOXYCHARM time, woop woop! Yes, i get totally excited about this box because it has so much to offer. Ok, for those who do not know about Boxycharm it is a beauty subscription box that is $21 a month, yes it is more expensive than Ipsy or Birchbox buttttt, with this box you get 4-5 full size products every month. Guys, this is totally worth the price tag. Let me tell and show you what I mean, this months theme is 'Eyes on 2016'. Everything in our box has something to do with eyes.

For starters you see those brushes up there. They are the Royal & Langnickel Revolution set which cost $7.99 each and since we got 3 our total was $23.97. These brushes are 100% vegan, synthetic Natrafil fibers. They are soft and full/thick. We received (left to right) a Crease Brush, Smudger and Detail Brush. Guys, just these brushes have more than paid for our box!

Next we got the Blink Mascara Amplified (full size) and it cost $26. This is such an interesting mascara because it says it forms tiny, water-resistant "tubes" around the lashes. I will have to try it out and give you guys an update next week on how this worked for me.

I also received the Ardency Inn Modster eyeliner in the color Turquoise also in full size and it retails for $19. This glides on so smoothly and the color is vibrant and just beautiful. Plus I love that it's waterproof. I really enjoy getting different color eyeliners, they just add a pop of color to our eyes.

Now last, but definitely not least, we all got the Coastal Scents Revealed Smoky Palette. This of course is a full size palette that retails for $39.95 although 99% of the time you can get these for around $20 on the coastal scents website. But regardless this is a great palette with lots of options for the perfect smokey eye. It has 20 powder eye shadows in a range of colors and textures. Not all the shadows are great, some are too powdery and others not as pigmented but with so many options this does have some really good hidden gems.

Well you guys that's  it. This month we got 4 full size products and I am not complaining. Boxycharm is still my #1 beauty box subscription because it gives you a lot more fir your money plus I get introduced to brands that i would have probably never tried in my own that I end up loving.
