The bag this month is just as cute as the last. This months theme is 'Beauty Passport', it is all about products that will help you keep looking your best on the go and let me tell you I can use all the help I can get. So what do these products do for us? Let's find out........
1) AHAVA Purifying Mud Mask | I am a huge mask fan period. They give your skin the perfect pick me up no matter where you are. This one in particular, since it is a mud mask, helps clean out impurities and oils from your pores. I have personally tried other AHAVA masks and skincare and I enjoy them very much. They always leave my skin feeling refreshed and very soft.
2) Laura Mercier Radiance Primer | I am a person that counts on primers to make my makeup last. To me they are an essential part of my makeup routine. I have combination skin so I usually end up using multiple primers. I love primers that give me a glow and that is what this one does. This is a good size sample too especially since you don't have to use a lot.
3) Burt's Bees Hand Salve | This comes in a tin and is made with botanical oils, herbs and beeswax. I will admit that the scent of this is not one I enjoy so I will be passing this one along, it is just too herbal for my taste.
4) Clinique Moisture Surge Extended Thirst Relief Moisturizer | I like that this is a cream-gel as you get the best of both worlds plus according to the booklet it says you can 'use it for a midday boost, a 5 minute moisture mask, or you can add a dab to any foundation for a dewy finish'. Wow! This truly does a lot so we will see if all those claims are real, I will for sure keep you updated.
5) Dermablend Loose Setting Powder | I already have been using a sample of this that I got in another box and I love it. It is a very fine powder that goes on translucent and I have even used it to bake. It gives me a very airbrushed finish. (On a side note this will be on sale during Ulta's 21 days of beauty)
6) Vince Camuto Ciao | The surprise sample this month is a perfume sample. This smells good and it's nice but I have so many perfume samples already I wish they would give us other samples. Just saying. But it is a perfume I will eventually use or give to my mom.
So, overall this month was ok. But really, is this worth $15?? I personally do not think so. I see this more of a $10 box like the Sephora Play! Box. Unless we start seeing some very big brands in future boxes I might consider canceling. We will see what happens. So what do you guys think? Are you subscribed? Do you like what you received?
