New Macy's Beauty Box Subscription- August 2017

Hello everyone! I cannot believe I haven't posted in over a year but I am very happy to be back and best of all with a brand spanking new beauty box subscription!!!! I have been waiting over a year for this one and I was beginning to think it just wasn't going to happen but, it's finally here. It is the Macy's Beauty Box. It will be a monthly subscription and it will cost $15 a month for 5 samples and an extra surprise which seems to be a perfume sample. Now that we have that out of the way let's look at what we got for the month of August.

First, you get a super cute bag every month and it all revolves around a specific theme. This month is all about "The In Crowd". The bag is a gorgeous gold with makeup decor and you get a booklet with info on the products for the month. Let's look inside:

Philosophy Purity Made Simple 2 oz

This is a one-step facial cleanser that removes makeup and doesn't dry out the skin. I had used this in the past and I do enjoy it. I like to save these for travel as it is small enough to fit in a bag. It has a very fresh scent, doesn't lather too much but cleans deeply. Full size $11-36.

MAC False Lashes Extreme Mascara in Black

This is said to give the illusion of lash extensions. Full size is $23.

Smashbox Cover Shot Eyeshadow Duo 

These are the shades 'Turned On' & 'Psyched' from the Golden Hour Palette. They are very silky and look beautiful. I like that the sample has a mirror. Full size palette $29.

Tarte Maracuja Oil 0.23 oz

With all the subscription boxes I receive I cannot believe I have not received this before. I am excited to try it out especially because it has Vitamin C and it says it won't clog your pores. Full size $16-48.

Benefit Cosmetics Gimme Brow Volumizing Fiber Gel in Shade 3

This is a perfect shade for my very dark almost black brows. I love brow gels so this was great to have in my bag. Plus this is said to help 'create full, lush-looking brows while conditioning with vitamin B-5 and marshmallow extract'. Full size $12-24.

Carolina Herrera Good Girl

Last but not least is the perfume sample we got. I was super excited about this as I had seen it online and really wanted to try it but, it is a little pricey so im glad I get to try before I buy. I really want this especially because of the gorgeous packaging. This fragrance has notes of sweet jasmine, Cocoa and richtonka bean. This smells very sexy and feminine, the jasmine definitely stands out and it has a sweetness to it, I am in love with it! 

Now, for my first bag I have to say this was pretty good. Every month we will get a $5 off your beauty purchase coupon which supposedly would be like the bag costing $10 butttt I would rather much pay $10 for the bag as I do think $15 is a little too much.
