Review of the Sephora Play Box- May 2016

Hello everyone! I know I go M.I.A for weeks at a time sometimes but life just gets busy lol but make sure to follow me on social media so you don't miss out on super fun post ;) Now on to the good stuff.  I finally got off the waitlist last month with the very desired Sephora Play Box. I know we are in June and my June box review will be following this one but I still wanted to share with you what I received in my May box so you can see if it something you will be interested in when the option becomes available to you.

So here is what my May box looked like:
Each monthe comes with a new theme. May was all about 'The Forces of Nature ' so it was full with products that are natural, vegan and cruelty free. Sephora also started doing something new for their play boxes, they now come with a cute little bag filled with the products of the month:

How cute is the bag!!! This month it said: 'Let's Beauty Together '. They really stepped up their presentation as before it used to just all be in a little throw away box. Lets see what's inside:

For starters evey month you get an extra sample which comes in the form of a perfume sample. May brought us Atelier Cologne in Orange Sanguine. This smells like a fresh squeezed orange on maximum power. It smells amazing! We also got a Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche in Kimchi. This lipstick is a bright, very pigmented pink color. This was my very first Bite Beauty lipstick and I am in love. This lipstick stains your lips so that even when it does come off throughout the day it doesn't leave your lips bare, you still have color on them which is fantastic! A Tarte lip crayon in Lettergram was also in our box. This is a nude lipliner that contains vitamin E and antioxidants so it wont dry out your lips. Next up the Origins Maskimizer (which came with 2 mask samples). This is a mask primer, can you belive it, who knew we needed this. For all you maskaholics, like me, you spray this before you mask so it absorbs better on your skin. We also got a Korres Wild Rose Sleeping Facial which is an overnight treatment that will help moisturize the skin. And finally, last but not least, for all my hair treatment lovers we got a Briogeo Don't Despair, Repair! Deep conditioning mask. This I have not tried yet and it is going on my hair box as I have several hair masks and treatments to try first.

Overall I was very happy with my first box and I am enjoying trying out new brands that I have come to really like. This box is $10 a month plus tax with free shipping. All the products are available at your local Sephora or Sephora.com. Have you received your invite? What do you think of this box? Let me know and stay tuned for June Unboxing. TTYL XOXO
