Pūr~lisse Blue Lotus 4~in~1 Eye Adore Serum Review

Hello everyone! Sorry I have been M.I.A for the past few weeks but I have been super busy, so much to do and so little time! But in any case I am back and have lots of new goodies to share with you guys this week. Today I am doing a review on the eye serum I received in last months Boxycharm. I waited a few weeks to be able to get a good feel on this product and to give you my honest opinion. So here it goes. This is my first time trying a Pūr~lisse product which according to their website they "blend traditional Chinese beauty rituals of yesteryear with today’s French skincare technology. The result — a coveted pure and effective skincare system in sophisticated, functional packaging for your modern lifestyle."

The claim as stated in their website regarding this eye serum: "Active ingredients like soy protein and French marine plants bring 4X the power against aging in this intensive eye serum. Our breakthrough Peptide Eye Complex and exclusive peptide complex, Lotus Lupine 5, have been clinically proven to work together against wrinkles, dark circles and puffiness, while hydrating and lifting the delicate eye area.
the ritual: Apply day/night after cleansing. Using your ring finger, lightly tap on small amount of serum, to reduce tugging on delicate eye tissue."

My findings: First of all this is a pump dispenser bottle, which makes it very easy to use. I do not have dark circles under my eyes or wrinkles so I cannot give an opinion on those claims. As for the hydration, yes, this does give a nice hydration to the eye area without being sticky, oily or leaving any residue. As soon as you apply this it sinks right into your skin, which is great when you have limited time to put on your makeup in the morning. It works wonders in the puffiness of the eye area, after a few minutes I could see results. This eye serum is scented but it is not overpowering, it does not irritate the eye area, plus the scent does diminish with time. Also, a little goes a long way.

Price: $65.00 for .5 oz

Is it worth it?: Well, I think it is a good product. Depending on what your needs are this might work for you as it did for me. One thing you can do if you want to try other items in this line is to order their Starter Kit which comes with 5 different travel size products, one being this eye serum, and they are all good for all skin types including sensitive skin. The starter kit is $58.00.

So tell me, have you tried this eye serum? What do you think of it? Or what do you currently use that has worked for you? Let me know and don't forget to follow me so you don't miss any new posts, TTYL XOXO
