The Balm Meet Matt(e) Hughes

Hey everyone welcome back! So this season is in huge demand of liquid lipsticks that are long lasting and unstoppable, which are so far my favorite, but don't get me wrong, any lipstick is OK with me on any day. I have not tried every single brand out there yet, thou i am trying hahaha, but so far one of my favorites has been the Meet Matt(e) Hughes from The Balm Cosmetics.

 Let me tell you a little something about this great company who's products are Paraben and Cruelty-Free. The companies CEO & Founder is Marissa Shipman who began this company in 2004 from her own kitchen, which ladies that is a great inspiration for all of us who are looking to make something happen, she has proven that if you want something you need to just do it yourself, and do it now don't wait until tomorrow. She began her company with a wonderful philosophy, ''beauty in five minutes''. And sure enough to this day this company has great products that help us get the job done in no time. One of those products is the fabulous liquid lipstick i just purchased. So let me tell you about this liquid lipstick. The colors are very pigmented so really a little goes a long way. I only had to use one layer to get the color i wanted. It is a medium consistency, not too liquid-y or too thick and it has a minty vanilla scent, which is amazing. The formula comes in 8 colors, i got it in Adoring (shown bellow) which is a red wine shade that is perfect for all my fall wardrobe.

The other shades are Loyal which is a deeper darker red, Devoted-a bright red, Sentimental- a darker pink, Charming- a darker mauve, Honest which is a bright peachy coral, Committed- a beautiful nude and last but not least Chivalrous- a pretty, light pink. When you apply this on your lips you are supposed to wait a few minutes to let it dry as this is a long lasting liquid lipstick. It dries to a matte finish and it last FOREVER!

Let me explain exactly what I mean by forever. Truth be told i put it on at 6pm on a Monday night and i admit, i slept with it that night because, well, i got a little lazy and didn't take off my make-up hahaha, i know the worst thing i could have done but don't hate me, it happens to all of us. But it doesn't end there, i not only slept with it but when i got up it was intact so i also wore it to work without reapplying, that is right ladies all night and all day and it didn't come off until i took it off Tuesday night. Wait, there is more, i couldn't even just wipe it off i had to us make up remover to take it off!!!

So if you want something that is kiss-proff, sleep-proof, sip-proof and pretty much indestructible, this is it, look no further! What is even more amazing about this product is that even though it is long lasting, it doest dry out your lips, they actually feel moisturized. I cannot wait to try all the other beautiful shades.
